·       Open illustrator, draw a line with pen tool

·       Bend line; look like ‘S’ shape

·       Copy and paste shape

·       Reflect shape

·       Put shapes together

·       Fill shapes with blend option

·       Copy shape

·       Open Photoshop

·       Fill background black

·       Select brush tool and dap on a large grey spot

·       Paste shape from illustrator into Photoshop

·       Paste another 3 times and line up so that the shape has symmetry and is a complete shape, but still remain individual shapes

·       Create new layer, place a dad of blue colour on a shape

·       Change from normal do dissolve

·       Blend layers

·       Do the shape for the three other colours on shapes, (green, yellow and red)

·         Find a celebrity or artist (central image)

·         Cut out from original image using the cut tool

·         Edit his size, colorings and audacity

·         Find an appropriate background image (mine was a fiery orange)

·         Create a suitable title; choose appropriate colours and a specific font. Rotate to my own preference

·         Choose images that go with the current theme (ukulele, Blackpool rock, union jack etc)

·         Again, cut round the images so that no white from the image was transferred through.

·         Resize, crop and colour to my own preference

·         Place in appropriate areas

·         Make final changes

·         Flatten image

·         Print

 

Fonts homework for graphics

image 1- I like this fonts because of its unusual serifs. I think the 'WOR' (white on red) contrast works well with the darker 'W' in the background.

image 2- Nike. This font has been Nike's logo for years, the typography of the black on white contrast (WOB) creates a clear and crisp image. I like this image because of its simplicity, and how the letters are purposefully placed close together.

Image 3- I love this font because of the typography. By using an arrow as the letter 'I' in 'Robin' and the stem of the 'H' in Hood, suggests what the genre of the following is. In addition the background of the forest adds to this emphasis.

image 4- My final image is the well recognised pixar logo. by including an image of a lamp in the font its-self suggest the animation setting it is it. Note how the letters are spaces far apart from what a fonts letters usually are. This creates clear distinction from other fonts, and is what makes it iconic.

Graphics Homework. Find 5 Graphics images.

I love this design of a tattoo because it is detailed, realistic and overall exiting to look at. This is my first design out of five.

My second image i love because of the simple edit. the man has been cut round and pasted on top of a large image of an eye, to give a realistic image of a small man cleaning a large eye.

This extreme close up of a water droplet is going to be my third image. i love this image because of  of its simplicity, and its symmetry. the colour scheme was also be interesting to edit.

This is my fourth image. i love this image because the edits on it are limitless. there are a number of images i could place at the top of the image to create an impact of all desired affects. i feel this image could have a great sense of humour.

 My final image is of many Marmit jars, shrunk and copied and pasted to give the impressing of rain droplets. some of the images have been blurred and stisted so that each jar looks different.

These 5 images are classic examples of how an image can be edited, or how you can just create something amazing without even having an image to start from.
